Mike Brookbanks has 20+ years’ experience in the Information Technology (I.T.) field, and has successfully shaped, developed, led and delivered multiple transformational IT engagements, creating innovative approaches to the optimization and transformation of client’s IT environments.
He engages as a trusted advisor at the CIO/CXO level, translating between business challenges and IT solutions to architect, lead and deliver complex transformations across IT environments within a mix of clients. He worked for IBM between 1988 and 2010 where he successfully led the transformation of clients I.T. environments to meet business and IT challenges (Cost reduction/ IT Optimization, Operational Resilience, IT Transformation and Green IT) across Financial Services and Public Sector.
Mike has an MSc in Information Technology from Loughborough University and a BSc Honors degree in General Engineering and Business Management from the University of Surrey. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, a Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Open Group Distinguished Certified IT Architect (TOGAF).
